Clay Christiansen, Lincoln, won a no-hitter, 13-1 versus Norfolk, May 24. Mike Kreevich, McCook, led in homers with 15. Kreevich would later play 12 seasons in the majors. Lincoln played its first night home game on May 19, at Landis Field.
