Western League

The July 4 game between Leadville and St. Joseph was delayed half an hour by a snowstorm. Jake Beckley of Leavenworth led the league in hits with 113 and John Fowler of Topeka led the league in triples with 13. Billy Hart pitched a no-hitter for Leavenworth on April 25 in an exhibition game against the St. Louis Maroons, winning 3-0.
