Charles Comiskey managed the St. Paul franchise. On August 1, Harry Hulen of Minneapolis scored six runs against Grand Rapids without an official at bat by walking six times and also stole five bases. Minneapolis' Perry Werden hit four homers and a single in five times at the plate.
