Jimmy Williams played for Kansas City and went on to play in the majors for 11 years. H.G. McNeely of Minneapolis no-hit Columbus and won 6-0 on July 27. August 20, William Phyle of St. Paul also had a no-hit outing against Millwaukee and won 11-0.
