Nebraska Baseball Western League Babe Adams, Denver, led all pitchers with 23 wins. In the 1909 World Series Adams won three games, a rookie record. He went on to play 17 years in the major leagues. On July 17, 1914, Adams pitched 21 innings without walking a single batter. Pat Ragan of Omaha pitching a no-hit game against Lincoln on June 26, winning 4-1.
