Nebraska Baseball Western League Dazzy Vance pitched a no-hitter for St. Joseph on May 30 against Witchita, winning 2-1. Vance also led the league in strikeouts. Bob Ingersoll of Omaha pitched another no-hitter for Omaha against Topeka on August 21, winning 7-0. The schedule was cut from 168 games to 154 and the salary limited was upped to $3,200.
