May 26 Frank Graham of St. Joseph won a 4-0 game over Witchita, no-hitting them. John Nabors , Denver, no-hit Sioux City July 25 in a 1-0 win. Omaha second baseman Phil Cooney had an unassisted triple play versus Denver on July 6. Babe Adams, pitching for Hutchinson, defeated Des Moines 2-1 in 17 innings. Lefty O'Doul pitched for Des Moines and would later make it to the bigs as an outfielder, eventually playing eight seasons.
